Dr. Chris Collins
Dr. Chris Collins graduated from Southern College of Optometry
in Memphis, Tenn., in 1984. At that time, he moved to
Vicksburg, Miss., to begin practicing with Dr. Jerry Hayes
where he bought into the practice in 1986.
He has practiced at that same location, in Louisiana and
in Monticello and Bay Springs, Miss., maintaining a home
base of Vicksburg, Miss., for the past 25 years.
Dr. Collins knows the meaning of family as he grew up in his
father's optometry practice. He and his wife Teresa have
four children. Their youngest daughter Mary graduated
Dec. 12, 2008 from Mississippi State University in
biochemistry and molecular biology. She plans to
continue the tradition at Southern College of Optometry.
Mary is currently managing the Collins Eye Clinic practice at
1206 Mission 66 in Vicksburg.
